Disaster Prep Committee

Disaster Preparedness Committee 
The Disaster Preparedness Committee is a group of volunteers appointed by the Mayor and City Council to do the following:

  1. Make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on measures the City can take to better prepare for natural disasters and other similar emergencies.
  2. Communicate and coordinate with City emergency personnel on emergency response protocols involving volunteers.
  3. Develop and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on public education and awareness programs for better preparedness of the City and its residents.
